It's a Boy!

I am sure that most of you know this already, but Baby H is a boy!!  Andy and I are so very excited.  I have felt all along that this baby would be a boy, but Andy was totally convinced that we were having a girl.  We have had a bet going since we found out that we were pregnant.  After the ultrasound tech left the room, Andy looked at me and said, "I have never been so happy to lose a bet."  I guess we know who has been hoping for a boy, huh?  I LOVE being right!  It is so satisfying.  Actually, I think that we were both hoping for a boy.  I am not sure why, but I have always wanted a boy first.  I think that it is going to be an amazing adventure.

Baby H's name will be Christopher Wallace Horner.  Christopher after both grandfathers.  My father is Chris Owens and Andy's is Peter Christopher.  Wallace is after Andy's maternal grandfather, Dale Elmo Wallace.  I have always loved family names.  I think it gives a person a sense of his or her own history.  I figure if he decides to be a football player, he can be Chris Horner, if he decides to be a doctor he can be Christopher W. Horner, and if he decided to be a lawyer he can be C. Wallace Horner.  :)  For now, I am calling him Baby Christopher or Baby Chris.

Here are the pictures from the ultrasound, however they are not very clear.  I have two different OBs, high-risk and regular.  I saw the high-risk last week and his ultrasound machine is not nearly as good as my regular OB's.  We go see her on Tuesday, so hopefully some better pictures are coming soon.
